Born in Oxford, England, educated at Stowe and Lausanne Hotel School, Hugh's career in the senior management of luxury hotels has taken him across the world, from Hong Kong to France, Germany and Switzerland, the UK and more recently the USA.
With a lifetime commitment to the importance of attention to detail, quality of service and confidentiality, his focus in New York is on demystifying the overwhelming nature of buying and selling a home and his ability to ease your mind.
He understands well the needs of individuals and their families relocating from one country to another, and the importance of good and accurate information. With his first assignment in Manhattan the management of a very special townhouse in Midtown, he has to his credit many years' experience of local laws, abatement policies, refurbishment schemes and the workings of the city.
Hugh and his wife Esmeralda, who has blessed him with four children, have been involved in a number of charities including The Considering Alexander SIDS Foundation and First Candle, The Queen Elizabeth II Garden in Hanover Square, The American Friends of Stowe, The St George's Society of New York and The Annual Get Your Wellness On Fair in Washington Square Park.
To quote one of his clients, "Hugh forever manages to turn what can be a stressful undertaking into a pleasure."
We are very happy in our new home on 14th St. Thank you for your letter. It was an eye opener to see how complicated the Manhattan real estate market is. We signed a contract in December 2012, and closed last week, mid to late April 2013. We feel the need to tell you how much of an asset you have in Hugh Williamson- Noble. As crazy and complex the market and process is in NYC, Hugh is completely competent and understanding of the city and its real estate market. It was incredible how he made sense of this huge city and all of its components. He explained it to us, found out what we wanted from NY, and guided us easily through a vast amount of listings into an apartment that worked for us. To be successful in this environment, you have to be a special person. This is Hugh.
I have been self employed for going on twenty years. I have three businesses and am reasonably successful. I am in sales as well, and am particularly good at reading people. I do this for a living. My read on Hugh is that he is extremely smart, and is over qualified for the work he is doing for you. Hugh is honest. His desire to draw out your needs, find what you are looking for, and bring it to fruition is the best I've ever seen. Thanks again for all that Hugh and your company have done for us.

To Whom It May Concern
Re: Hugh Williamson-Noble
I have recently purchased an apartment in New York and it would not have been possible without the assistance, counsel and persistence of Hugh Williamson-Noble. I first met Hugh through a colleague at Westpac Banking Corporation, the second largest bank in Australia, with an office in New York. Hugh had assisted some other Australians find and successfully purchase apartments in Manhattan, and he willingly set out to find an apartment that would meet my short and long term needs.
Over the course of three years, Hugh took me to see many apartments, and would send me information when I was in Australia, all of which enabled me to develop a better understanding of the residential real estate market in Manhattan, and narrow the areas that I was looking at. Nothing was ever trouble for Hugh, from arranging his diary to suit mine, to working with my very specific needs, to going the extra mile to ensure I was comfortable with the cross border complexities, and to negotiating on my behalf for the price I was willing to pay. Hugh's involvement didn't stop just because I had purchased an apartment. He continued to help me find suitable tenants, and did many of the things that I should have done to finalize the lease, but was unable to due to living in Australia.
I would unreservedly recommend Hugh to anyone looking for expert advice and assistance in the residential market in Manhattan, from a modest one bedroom apartment to a twenty room residence on Central Park West or Fifth Avenue.

To whom it may concern, My wife, Medina, and I had decided to begin the journey of purchasing our first home in New York. We've been long-time residents in Astoria, and it was important to us to find a place in our neighborhood, despite the rising prices in our neighborhood. We were referred to Hugh Williamson-Noble through a friend, and began our search with him.
Having spoken to several real estate agents in the New York area in the last few years, Hugh immediately stands out. In a sea of smooth-talking agents who seem hell-bent on closing a deal as soon as possible with little regard to their clients, Hugh met the challenge with patience, professionalism, and honesty. As a result, Medina and I trusted him in a way we thought we'd never trust an agent in New York.
Once we began our hunt, Hugh dug deep into the neighborhood and beyond to find anything that met our filter by price, by-laws, and condition. It was no easy task! Once we began making offers on co-ops, we were met with sellers and sellers agents who could be more challenging than anticipated. As a result, Hugh was diligent in following up, by email or phone, with various agents and others who seemed determined to slow the process at every juncture. Hugh demonstrated great tenacity in getting answers, progress, and result through the process. Lastly, once the deal was signed, he seamlessly worked with lawyers, agents, and mortgage brokers to make the process smooth for us.
Given the long process of searching, signing, and then closing, we've now known Hugh for well over a year, and we consider him part of our extended New York family. For all these reasons and more, I highly suggest you consider him for your future real estate agent needs in the greater New York area.
